Equity Research Intern

Apo Capital is an independent investment management firm that invests in public equities in Latin America with a long-term investment horizon. The firm is a meritocratic partnership and was founded in 2019. The investment team has over 55 years of cumulative experience analyzing and investing in companies in different industries and geographies in Latin America and globally.

We combine the investment philosophy and process acquired from our partners’ experience in New York-based firms (Ziff Brothers Investments and Two Creeks Capital) with our local knowledge to run a well-researched, high conviction, concentrated portfolio.

The fund exclusively caters to foreign institutional investors, such as Foundations, Endowments, and Family Offices.

Responsibilities

As part of the investment team, you will be responsible for analyzing and monitoring companies within our universe of coverage. We employ a fundamental approach, conducting in-depth analyses of key aspects of companies and their sectors. The environment is collaborative, and you will have exposure to all investment theses, participating in the decision-making process of the firm.

The intern/jr. analyst will undertake tasks such as:

• Qualitative and quantitative analysis of listed companies; 
• Interaction with professionals from related sectors; §Financial modeling; Results monitoring; 
• Participation in the decision-making process.
